THE TWELFTH DECADE (2001 0NWARDS)
| The
twelfth decade saw projects continuing a long-standing relationship
with WoodGreen Red Door Family shelters in the renewal and
expansion of two of their facilities and a study of their
main facility for proposed renewal. Other church related projects
include an expansion to Ganaraska Woods Retreat Centre, an
out-of-town facility run by Calvary Baptist Church, Main Street
and O'Brien House, a new seniors residence for the Abbeyfield
Society of Shanty Bay, Ontario. Church projects have |

included providing barrier free access for Alderwood
United and German United churches, and facility use studies
for St. Andrew's United Church, Beaverton and Islington United
Church, Etobicoke. The latter project represents a renewed
relationship with a church for which one of our predecessor
firms were the original architects over fifty years ago.

the firm positioned in its twelfth decade of continuous practice,
we can but thankfully look back at the faith of the partners
before that lead them to serve the community of churches and
church related organizations resulting in what is likely the
longest serving architectural practice in Canada. |
